Adam has over 20 years’ experience advising wealthy individuals and families across a wide range of financial matters, as a Chartered Accountant, Corporate Finance Advisor and Private Wealth Manager. Prior to joining Alvarium, Adam spent five years with Barclays Private Bank, initially as a private banker covering Family Offices & UHNWs, then latterly as Head of a Business Development team focused upon originating new clients and managing relationships with professional service firms.
Adam started his career in the late 1990s qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen then acting as a corporate finance advisor and working with private business owners on mergers & acquisitions. Adam then moved into corporate banking in the early 2000s, supporting entrepreneurial businesses with acquisition finance, first at Bank of Ireland and then Investec Bank. After a decade of transactional work, Adam qualified as Chartered Wealth Manager and spent five years as an UHNW Private Banker with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth before joining Barclays in 2016.
Adam studied Economics and Social & Political Science at the University of Cambridge.
